Privacy
Short version: this site is cookieless. No banner, no tracking, no profiling.
Analytics, cookieless
alexnaressi.com runs Google Analytics 4 permanently in Consent Mode v2 default-deny. That means GA4 receives aggregate pageviews and source attribution (which site referred you, roughly where you visited from) but does not drop any cookie in your browser, does not store a persistent identifier, and does not link sessions together.
The IP address is anonymized at collection. Google Signals and ads personalization are off at the property level. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. No marketing pixels. No fingerprinting. No cross-site identifiers. No data sold or shared with advertisers.
Why no consent banner
The CNIL (France's data protection authority) allows analytics to run without a consent banner when the setup meets strict statistical-purpose criteria: no cross-site tracking, IP anonymization at collection, no enrichment from other sources, and reasonable retention. This site is configured to meet those criteria, so no banner is necessary.
Forms and submissions
There are no forms on this site. There is nothing to submit. The only way to reach me is through the social links in the footer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have a right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data about you. Because this site holds no identifiers about you, there is effectively nothing to access or delete on the analytics side. I am the data controller; reach me through the LinkedIn link on the home page. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
